The hotel is charming with theme rooms. The staff is outstanding: professional, personable and helpful. Everything is immaculate. The location is ideal: close to the waterfront and historical district as well as great shopping. We would definately return. The hotel is located in the heart of the city with seaview. Our room was elegantelly decorated and the entire hotel atmosphere was very romantic.
The stuff was friendly and helpfull. A little noisy at night as the nearby bars and restaurants were full of crowd untill late hours. Breakfast was typically continental. The Hotel Spa was small but cozy and elegant. This is the 4th time that we stay with my wife in the hotel. I usually visit Thessaloniki during the September exhibition period on business.
I have discovered the hotel after its complete 5 star rennovation under new management some years ago. Its location in the most beutiful part of the Thessaloniki city centre provides great opportunities for shopping and leisure some of the best restaurants and cafeterias are within walking distance What I like the most is the feeling of beeing at home, with the bottle of wine ' ' waiting for you;' ' in the room, the nespresso coffee maker the organic Korres products in the bathroom and the great decoration persian rugs etc - The ENGLISH room is my favourite!!!!
I highly recommend this both for business travellers and ' ' city breakers' ' ideally couples visiting Thessaloniki for leisure, as one of the best value for money hotels in Greece! We had the priviledge to stay at the Andromeda hotel in Thessaloniki this past September for three nights. The hotel location was in the heart of the downtown business zone and essentially right at the seawall which provides you with nice views, too.
The nightly rate included a cooked-to-order breakfast with fresh-squeezed orange juice that left you satisfied and ready to venture through the city. Each room at the Andromeda has a specific theme--so no two rooms are alike. The staff were professional and kind to the guests. I would definitely encourage those of you who end-up in Thessaloniki to make a reservation at this boutique hotel.
